East London Line Extension - Tunnel Telephone Design
Fourway provided the engineering consultancy to design the new traction discharge system (tunnel telephone) for the East London Line Extension Project. In collaboration with rolling stock, p-way and civil engineers we developed the system engineering requirements and CDS around LU standards and HMRI legislation.
White City Tunnel Telephone
For this project Fourway provided Metronet tunnel telephone engineering and delivery services. We were engaged for feasibility, design, construction, bring into use and handover. Ou expertise in legacy LU tunnel telephone systems was a key factor for the engagement.

Nottingham area customer information improvements
Fourway were commissioned by Central Trains to engineer the new solution. Initially, in consultation with Network Rail we determined a strategy to ensure the CIS system could track trains with greater accuracy than with TRUST data and consequently able to display more reliable information to staff and passengers.
East London Line Tunnel Telephone System
During a 3 year closure of the East London Line Fourway replaced the line normal tunnel telephone system. The primary reasons for the replacement was the existing assets were life expired.
