December Engineering Taster Day

December's taster day involved a team of A-level students, from various schools, experiencing the engineering of railway construction.
The day was broken down into mechanical, electrical and telecomms sessions each hosted by a graduate engineer who imparted their experiences of moving from education into industry. There was also an interactive session on BIM held by Paul Gates, Head of CAD at Fourway. The general aim of the day was to assist Lower Sixth science students in the process of making career and further education choices.
The day involved visits to main office in Brandon Road, Kings Cross and client offices at Paddington Crossrail and Euston Station HS2.
Future Engineering taster days are planned to take place during the Summer and Christmas holidays.
